Our panel of experts includes:

Dr. Annick Buchholz

Dr. Annick Buchholz is a clinical psychologist with the Regional Eating Disorders Program for Youth at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Dr. Buchholz provides clinical services to youth suffering from an eating disorder and to their families in the Ottawa and surrounding regions. She is also actively involved in research in the areas of treatment and prevention of disordered eating.

 

Stephen H. Feder
MDCM, MPH, CCFP

Dr. Stephen H. Feder is a member of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and completed a fellowship in adolescent health at the University of Minnesota. Stephen has been the head of the Adolescent Health program at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) since 1991 and the Eating Disorder Program since 2000.

 

Heidi Mack
B.A., B. Ed., M.Ed.

Heidi Mack is a body image consultant and a teacher in the prevention of disordered eating. Heidi has experience in body image, self-esteem, disordered eating, and body image in sport. Heidi worked on the BodySense project from 2000 to 2005 and is now working on a variety of related projects as an independent consultant.

 

Shaunna Taylor, 
PhD(c) CCC CSPA

Shaunna Taylor, PhD (c), CCC, CSPA, is the Co-Chair of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA), and the Sport Development and High Performance Director (Paratriathlon) at Triathlon Canada. She is a researcher, certified counsellor at the Ottawa High Performance Centre, and official service provider to our National Sport Centres in Ontario, Quebec and SportMedBC, consulting with competitive and high performance athletes across Canada.

 

Tristaca Caldwell

Tristaca Caldwell, MSc, PDt is a Professor at Acadia University and Registered Dietitian at Fueling with Food, a nutrition counseling company in Halifax, that specializes in sports nutrition and disordered eating. She works with both recreational and elite athletes from a variety of sports, as well as with the Atlantic division of the National Coaching Institute.
